参加工作以来,一直从事药物合成及有机合成工作。先后进行过抗菌素单环β-内酰胺类的合成研究,肝胆显影剂、脑显影剂的合成、抗肿瘤药物——小檗碱、磺酰腙类、芳维甲酸类衍生物、有机锗化合物、磷脂醚类……等衍生物的合成及生物活性研究,抗癌新药米托蒽醌的合成研究,天然产物信息素的全合成及酶催化不对称合成研究,天然甾体衍生物的提取、分离、鉴定,以及相关甾体酶抑制剂的合成,催化反应的研究。
2002年“214重点人才工程计划”第三层次人才。2008年四川省卫生厅学术带头人。曾获四川省教学成果一等奖;公司教学成果一等奖;化学制药工艺学实习优秀指导教师二等奖;化学制药工艺学教学成果二等奖;1992-1993年度优秀青年教师。获全国发明展览会及四川省发明展览会优秀奖。卫生部科学技术进步三等奖;四川省教育委员会科学技术进步人文社会科学科研成果二等奖;四川省科技进步二等奖;四川省科技进步三等奖。先后在国内外学术刊物上发表科研论文40余篇,其中本专业领域期刊如Org.Lett.;E.J. Org. Chem.; E. J. Med. Chem.;Bioorg. & Med. Chem. Lett.;SynLett.;Synthesis;J. Mole. Cataly. A:Chemical.等共发表SCI论文25篇;授权专利2项。参编学术专著一部《抗癌药物设计》。
先后负责过公司校青年基金资助的"新型不对称均相催化剂的研究";"一个甾体基本骨架的多方位应用研究",以及澳门网上赌搏十大网站(中国)有限公司给予的多项启动基金的资助。主研国家自然科学基金资助的"抗癌药物合成及构效关系的研究"、"国产抗癌新药DHAQ的研究"、"用反Diels-Alder反应合成蚁皇识别信息素及其有关物"、"磷脂醚类化合物亲肿瘤性技术研究"、“肿瘤早期诊断剂的合成及应用研究”。负责广东省教育部产学研结合项目“一种心血管创新药物丙丁酚单琥珀酸酯的研究开发”等研究工作,并负责了多项企业合作项目的研究,如:抗糖尿病药物的合成及构效关系研究;头孢类抗生素的合成研究等。
